For freshman Staize Harrell, Texas is a long way from home. But the Washington state native said she feels right at home on the TLU campus.
鈥淭LU gave me a personal connection while also providing me with amazing opportunities to help me get my nursing degree in a timely manner,鈥 she said. 鈥淭he beautiful campus and cute dog were just a great add on.鈥
Staize says she鈥檚 looking forward to making new connections and learning new things. 鈥淐an鈥檛 wait to set up my dorm and make new friends!鈥 It鈥檚 shaping up to be a great鈥攁nd busy鈥攕emester. 鈥淟ove doing any and all activities and always wanna feed my friends.鈥
