Not many people grow up to do exactly what they dreamed of as a kid. When Mark Peacock was younger, he wanted to be a lawyer, a teacher, and a coach. One BS in Finance and a Juris Doctorate later, he found his way to doing exactly those things. 鈥淗igher education has somehow allowed me to do all three,鈥 he says.
Students in TLU business classes recognize Peacock from the Legal Environment of Business and Business Ethics classes he teaches. They might not guess that he鈥檚 also an accomplished landscape photographer, who for the past twenty years has been using his photos to create calendars for friends and family鈥斺渁 creative outlet that鈥檚 become a fun tradition and a way to share the moments of beauty I discover throughout the year,鈥 he says.
They also might not realize that he鈥檚 the director of the university鈥檚 Master of Business Administration (MBA) program, where he teaches Legal and Ethical Issues in Business and oversees the program.
Peacock believes deeply in the value of guiding students toward earning their MBA. 鈥淎n MBA builds upon the foundation of an undergraduate degree and equips students for leadership roles, strategic decision-making, and accelerated career advancement,鈥 he says. 鈥淥ur graduates have advanced skills in areas like organizational leadership, change management, and making data-informed decisions.鈥
The program at TLU, under Peacock鈥檚 guidance, is one of a kind, set apart by its purpose-driven leadership approach. 鈥淭LU鈥檚 program emphasizes leadership grounded in ethics, integrity, and purpose鈥攄eveloping graduates who lead not just with knowledge and skill, but with character.鈥
TLU鈥檚 MBA program is online, flexible, and can be undertaken no matter what undergraduate degree an individual holds. It can be completed in as little as a year, and offers fall and spring start dates. To learn more about the MBA program at TLU, visit: Master of Business Administration | Online | MBA Program | MBA
